Who Invented this Jar opener? Just as the question is! LOL! i have had it my whole cooking lifre and my mom had it forever... I would like to know how old it is! who made it etc.

It is Copper it seems ..yep smells like a penny! LOL Has no writing or patent numbers etc.

It works wonderfully! I love it. I have a bad left rotator cuff and can no longer grip things with my left hand hard enough to hold it and turn the handle with my right. Before my problem any jar was a breeze and the thing adjusts to approximately six inches or so! It is a great product! I love it! It is leverage and grip all in one!
