The problem is that progress in science inevitably means that someone else was wrong!
Science is continually evolving. Nothing is set in stone. Question everything and everyone. Always consider vested interests as a reason for miss-direction. But most of all explore and find answers that you are comfortable with

Or did something right but get ignored for historical reasons and as time
passes then technologies and science improve they get the recognition that
they deserve such as my cousin, Rosalind Franklin.

Rosalind Franklin was my first cousin and one my life's main regrets is that I never met this brilliant and beautiful lady.
She discovered the Single DNA Helix in 1953, then it was taken by Wilkins without her knowledge or agreeement.
