Dearest Peeps Of Super Wonder Academic Awe And Knowledge Of Klevur Stuff !

See this X-ray of an arm ?

 [ Invalid Attachment ]

Nice eh ?.....cor !..if I was a boy x-ray and that was a girly x-ray I would think that's a hottie !!

erhmmm...anyway.....see those bones inside the arm ?...

..........like the skin that surrounds it and keeps it all inside...are the bones in a constant state of rejuvenation ?
...the reason that got me thinking about this question is that when your arm breaks it fuses again don't it ?.......but..if the bones are always replenishing themselves then where does the old replaced boney stuff go ?.....after all.....skin is on the outside...that's constantly flaking away...but my humerus is well and truly inside ain't it guvna ?

Please don't sigh or indeed moan
Just answer my question about my bone !

Hugs et les shmisheys !

Calcium and phosphorous (the constituents of bones) are excreted in urine.
Phosphorous was discovered by distillation of urine.
Bladder stones are made of calcium salts.

Pub Quiz Question...
Q. What is the most abundant metal in the human body ?.
A. Calcium (in bones).
Most people will wrongly answer Iron (in blood).

I do know that a broken bone that has mended has "fused" itself
together and then is supposedly stronger.

Rosalind Franklin was my first cousin and one my life's main regrets is that I never met this brilliant and beautiful lady.
She discovered the Single DNA Helix in 1953, then it was taken by Wilkins without her knowledge or agreeement.
