I don't know any of them fancy converions and all that stuff, but if my speed remained constant how fast would I have to be moving to run it in 4 minutes? in 5? in 6?
Thanks Sim
I ran a mile earlier with a speed between 7-9, most of it was a little over 8 mph and i ran it in almost exactly 8 minutes.

a bit of simple algebra will give you the equation
s = 60/t
where s = speed (velocity) in mph
t = time in minutes to run the mile
for example, a 4 minute mile-- s = 60/4
s = 15 mph
