my father says i have an athletic structure for a long distance runner tall and pretty skinny yet i cant do more than 800m without stopping and the weird thing is im brill at short distance like 100m - 200m im even the fastest in my p.e class i dont get it...

Have you done any training to run middle distance races? If you are good at running generally you can usually sprint reasonably well but running middle and long distances takes more training before you can do it well. You need to build up your stamina and then try again and see how you do.
I was a very good middle distance runner but couldn't do it when I was unfit. I could always sprint reasonably well no matter how fit I was. My team used to win the 100m relay every year but I didn't always match this with my middle distance runs.
