How much do giant pandas poo?
« on: 11/07/2008 18:34:01 »
Giant pandas (please don't mention eats shoots & leaves!) don't do a lot. They lounge around all day munching on bamboo. As far as I'm aware there isn't a lot of nourishment in bamboo, so they have to eat a lot of it.

That begs the questions, how much do they eat in a day and how much do they poo? If pandas had a population explosion, would China disappear under a massive pile of panda poo?

Eating bamboo all day gets right up a panda's nose...
