Karen, I went to the vet yet again today and the female cat had had an operation to remove the swelling from an infected fox bite and she had her green bandage removed today.
The vet is pleased with her progress and so am I since she's turned out to be a greedy cat as she builds up her strength again.

I hope that you have a good Thanksgiving W/E.

Rosalind at one point my old dog had been attacked by a raccoon and got a bad virus from the coon that turned into a fierce infection of his neck and head area.. his head became so abscessed in a couple days that we did not know what was happening so we called our vet and she came out in her mobile hospital and she treated Buck.. She had to operate to remove the abscess which in a couple of days had become the size of his normal head,, it was horrible.. but she drained it took care of the infection and camped out here until he was safe.. wonderful veterinarian... He healed nicely and I was very glad to have had called her to come when he had been bitten as by the time she arrived he was really bad... We live out in the country so I was fortunate that she was so quick to come after we found the bite.. He had been bitten a couple days before.. but we couldn't find any punctures for two days.. we noted a scratch on his nose but missed a whole under his big floppy roll under his chin area on the neck..

I am glad she will be recovering well and that the vet and you did well taking care of him. Good job Ros..

Thanks for the good wishes.. you have a great weekend too!

Karen I am glad to hear that your old dog is healed now and bad luck with that raccoon.
The vet did her job in your case. good.
I am kind of relieved so far about my female cat but the vet had taken some samples from the
swelling and thought that it might be either an infection or a lymphoma, (that scares me for her), but I want to believe that it was only an infection.
Rosalind Franklin was my first cousin and one my life's main regrets is that I never met this brilliant and beautiful lady.

Karen yes the female cat is more like her usual cheeky self and
perkier too. But the male cat is miserable. I do understand why partly.

They would both like to go outside into the garden but

I shan't let them out until they are totally better and their fur's grown back

Karen I went to the vet this morning and he told me 2 bits of good news which were that the male cat, doesn't have to go to vet again as his treatment is finished

Also the female cat's swelling was a deep infected fox bite.

That is a huge relief all round for me.

Now I'll be able to sleep properly. hopefully.

resting and trying to relax....following doctors orders or at least trying to.. but I have so many things I want to do.. and no time to do them.. Time always flies when you want it to slow down .. you know.. before you blink your eyes a year will be gone and everything in life will have completely changed.. people have moved on time passed and babies are born and life goes on.. what an amazing world eh?

I hope you feel better soon Ryan.. I missed you the last few days and thought about you working on all those new songs.. LOL.. I figured I better be to writing some more.. so I can get to feeling better... LOL.. It makes me feel better to write a bit... Hey Today I pulled out the accordian Opened the box and tried to take it out to get a picture for you but I was not strong enough to lift it out of the box... I will get my son to come help me.. It is a beautiful one.. baby blue quite pretty!

Hey Ryan.. I noticed that I have a sticky key.. do you have a suggestion.. I far the cold dampness in the house may be causing the keys to swell... I pushed the box closer to the living room to get it a warmer area where the temp is more stable.. I hope that helps.. any other suggestions would help... Boy I forget how loud they can be... It hurt my arm trying to raise it from the case so I only got a couple sounds when I unsnapped it in the case! ....

Yes.. generally dampness can cause the keys to swell and stick on a piano..that is in a damp coollocation.. so I am assuming the same for a accordian ?  My piano we had a wire which produced enough heat to keep the keys dry....
it was located in the underside of the piano just above the foot pedals  closer to the  underside of the keys.... It helped prevent swelling during storage....

I didn't get anything up to youtube this weekend.. I wanted to, but I havne't had the time..

Going to put up every rose has its thorn tomorrow maybe.. I need to take my guitar to school to pratice for our thing we're doing up at the resturant next week. I need to bring it in, but i want to get that done.. i could use my electric and put it on the acoustic setting, but.. i'd like my acoustic guitar for it.. also going to put up 2 more videos of guitar rifts and another 5 finger melody accordion songs..

Getting Organized, Watching Tv, Sleeping, School, Running, Home??, Homework. I think that's it.. surpizingly..
