I agree with the chemist suffering from ennui. IQ tests are, in general, a total waste of time

I think many people fall into temptation, given that a proper IQ measurement gives a range, to report the top of that range. Of course I'm perfectly sure that dead people don't lie about their IQs; they may "lie in state" or in their grave, but that's another matter
