Be nice to a stranger Friday.

As Beaver declared a day, I would like to declare Friday 14th November "Be nice to a stranger day." Tell us what you did and if the recipient was grateful, surprised or suspicious. Or, in JimBobs case, did they get out a gun and shoot you. I might give the best act of kindness a prize!!

Not being facetious is the best I can manage with strangers.  Probably best if I stay indoors tomorrow.

Be nice to a stranger, eh?

In that case all I can promise is that I shall try not to murder anyone I don't know. As for people I do know - well, they're not strangers, are they!

Don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I was very nice today.  A woman talking on her cell phone walked out in front of me today in a parking lot and I resisted the urge to run her stupid ass over!

FRIDAY IS BEAVER EXTERMINATION DAY!

Do your part and help Carolyn find a beaver to run over. If that isn't possible, find your own and run over it's ass.

I shall be back at South Kensington this afternoon. There's bound to be some tourist ask the way to somewhere or other, there always is!

On this 'Be nice to a stranger day', I will make an effort to be as nice as pie to whom ever shall ask for directions.

As usual, I'll still send them in exactly the opposite direction to the way they should be going, but I'll do it nicely!

Thinking about it, perhaps I should be nice to JamBlob today - they don't come much stranger than him!  [:D]

Don yes I know that feeling and Rosalind does exactly the same thing like yesterday, I was asked the way to go somewhere but
naughty me sent them miles out of the way, felt good. LOL LOL LOL
Rosalind Franklin was my first cousin and one my life's main regrets is that I never met this brilliant and beautiful lady.
She discovered the Single DNA Helix in 1953, then it was taken by Wilkins without her knowledge or agreeement.

You are not taking this appeal for goodness seriously. I helped a woman with a large box and I put some money into every Pudsey box in town. The poor cold bedraggled students all dressed in skimpy fancy dress carrying their little collection boxes. I did it to cheer them up as I don't normally give to charity.

Any more takers for good deeds?

I allowed the new paperboy to depart unmutilated. Does that count?

Charity! Yes that reminds me of the night after a very late finish at Olympia when my neighbour (Dave) came with me to help set up a few stands. We left Olympia at 10.30pm. Having been stopped at traffic lights at Vauxhall Bridge, a fella came up to the truck with a few copies of The Big Issue in his hands and stuck his face in the window. "Big Issue?" he said trying to flog them. Quick as a flash Dave replied, "Haven't you got a home to go to?"

Did you also give him a big tissue?

The big issue seller in town sounds like he is shouting "Bigger Shoe!" I am tempted to give him a large boot.

We had one in Worcester and it felt as though it could be set to music:

"Big issue, Big issue, pretty pretty pretty big issue, my big issue hoo hoo...."

Name that tune in 1?
