Why does testosterone cause head hair loss but make the body hairier?
« on: 13/01/2009 09:07:07 »
Ricardo asked the Naked Scientists:

Hi Chris,

Why it is said that when people go bold they have a lot of testosterone? I have seen that many persons that are bald also are bearded, why in the face there is hair and not in the head?

Thanks!!
Ricardo

I have a beard - persistent things they are too. All men would be bearded if they would only take the trouble not to shave.
