Not complementary medicine as such, but the traditional Chinese medicine that I took a few years ago worked wonders. Don't know if anyone else has had the problem though...
Dentstudent is correct.
Once it has started bleeding, what ways can you stop it? I usually just get two fingers and apply pressure at the top of the nose, just a bit below the eyes and try not to tip my head. Anyone else know other methods? How about things that you can eat/drink to stop them starting in the first place!
I've always just tipped my head back, which seems to stop it.Heard that taking low-dose aspirin on a regular basis can cause nose bleeds.
I've just remembered something else, you roll up a piece of tissue paper or whatever and stuff it between your teeth and top lip, (the end result is that you look like a rugby player or a boxer with their mouthguards in) then you press hard on it and the bleeding should stop
sounds like you need some sleep!
Well, I'm trying my best!
