Why don"t they make sock suspenders for women?

Well I was thinking about this last week while watching an old movie with Jack Lemon in it!

I don't mean garters but knee sock suspenders for us ladies to wear under our trousers so we don't have the slip down problem!

Because women would never be willing to look so silly?

Well we ladies sometimes wear knee high socks.. so why not suspenders to hold them up like men have for their socks!

When my mother in law visits, she used to insist on drying her calf-length stockings on the banister. There is nothing remotely sexy about this. *Shudders*

Hangs them on the banister eh?.. Well they certainly can't be sexy there now can they!
Well that may depend on if she is using the banister in a different manner.. dancing ie.. etc etc... LOL LOL..

I don't think the suspenders are gendered. They can be used for either sex once the suspenders breed. You just need to buy two pair and the suspenders, being di-sexual, reproduce quickly.

I always wondered what those socks lost in the dryer were doing...

British male comedians used to wear them; John Cleese, Eric and Ernie. I used to think they were only worn by rich business men. My friend tells me they are worn with knitted socks because they have no elastic in them. Most women I know don't wear knitted socks, unless they are really sad! I guess the comedians wore them for their comic value.

I think you might be wrong there, on a couple of points.

1: Ernie didn't wear them and you never actually saw Ernie's legs (apart from that film they did).

2: I used to wear them at school for comic effect and I am not a comedian.

I'm sure I saw Ernies legs or perhaps it was one of those dreams. Any rate, they were short, fat and hairy.
