I have alot of trouble sleeping, and I only take homeopathic remedies for this.
I recently got a product from Holistix called 'Melatonin', which so far, for me, is the best out there by far.

It is really helping, and I feel great. The chemist said 'I can take it everynight if I want, lots of people do this'.

The only ingredient is melatonin, which is a naturally occuring hormone in most animals.

Is it ok to take this often?  Can I trust the chemist?

In America you can buy this over the counter. here in the UK you can only get it on prescription. I was prescribed it for six months, it didn;t work for me but it may work for you.

As far as wether it is safe ??..well... I suppose that depends on a few factors the dosage, the frequency of dosage and your body's own reaction/sensitiviy to it. It's clearly a contentious issue else here in the UK else I suppose it would be as easily available as it is for you.

I would suggest you see your doctor and/or a sleep specialist..but I would be tempted to try it for a few weeks first but it's always prudent to get ab experts perspective..I wish you luck and please do keep us updated.

Melatonin worked great for me too, however your body, or at least my body developed a resistance to it and I had to increase the dosage and after awhile it stopped working altogether. Good luck with it.
