According to scientists sticklebacks are as intellegent as humans. I don't believe comparisons can be made between such different creatures. What do you think. Here is some background info.

I'm quite good at swimming! This doesn't answer the question, does it?

Sticklebacks probably are just as clever as humans, as dolphins are and ants. I think 'intelligence' is relative to the individual species requirement. What makes our ability to fly set us above the stickleback? The stickleback has no need to fly, so it would be considered stupid if they achieved flight, since it would be of no real use to them. We could learn to swim as efficiently as a stickleback, but what use would that be to us? 99.999% of humans spend less than 0.001% of their lives in water, so such an achievement would be as stupid as a stickleback being able to fly from London to New York.

Sticklebacks aren't very good at using PC keyboards.

Hmmm, I seem to have something in common with sticklebacks.
