Someone told me the other day that if you mix expired diet softdrinks with alcohol they can react and produce a toxin (other than the obvious presence of alcohol), which I am quite skeptical of. Is this true?

Is that 'excellent' as in "excellent (said like Mr. Burns), I'll try that"?
Or "excellent! I just learned a new party trick"?

Like Mr. Burns :)

I've always been using diet softdrinks whether i'm having alcohol or not for about the past 3 years anyway
