Best way to save lives at sea is to prevent people from putting to sea in unsuitable craft. Good to see the Libyan coastguard taking it seriously.

It's a downward spiral, like a war, but not like any war we ever fought before. And there is no motivation to fight it.

Very dangerous! If you look carefully at ice core data you see that the temperature generally increased and peaked about 500 years before the CO2 level, which kind of discredits the idea of CO2 being the driver of climate change.

The point I'm driving at is that the game of inequality can't change.

There used to be a fashion for playing the "United Nations Card Game" at big conferences. Everyone received 5 playing cards on registering for the conference, and was told to "trade the cards with anyone else" - no other rules - then hand them all in on leaving.  What they didn't know was that  some people had been given 5 picture cards, some a bunch of 2s and 3s. After a couple of days it was always found that the guys who began with all pictures, owned all the cards.

No it's not dangerous, it's about the data you get out of them, depending on how much we know the data might change but the consensus is already here. and nobody is arguing that CO2 must be what comes first. It's a major driver though, and why it is is because it stores heat, that's pure physics, and so do other green house gasses.


Sorry, data is data, what I mean is that the interpretation of them might change with more knowledge. It doesn't change the reasons behind global warming though, or the physics of it.

If you by it mean that they had all possible values? As in a face card and a 2 and a 3? And those without face cards didn't? Was the distribution of values equal?

Alternatively you mean that people valued a face card more and gave, let's say two 3:s for one face card? That's funny :)
