The world you have use those studies in one way. As a better mean of controlling you. That's what it keeps ending up in. It's not about changing our game, it's about control. As a soldier getting 'trained' to ignore what he does. Or as our technology ending up in surveillance. I remember here in Sweden when there was a expose about spying, spying technology, and how it had developed. Me and Lars was there looking, and it was once of the worst presentations I've seen on this matter. But the head of Säpo had been there we were told, and had just congratulated them on creating a splendid expose. This is about twenty years ago I think, and it reflects what your establishments thinks is 'good for you' to know..
He probably went away laughing his a** off. This has changed with revelations from people like Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden and Julian Assange. Changing the names from civilians murdered to collateral damage doesn't hide it.

There is that old Chinese maxim, that people living in blissful ignorance, are the best people. I don't agree to that.

Like this story, from the BBC
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20210119-why-saving-whales-can-help-fight-climate-change
Mostly meaningless as far as I see it. As sort of 'if wishes could come true' story about the beauty of our oceans and in this case, whales. Everything dying in our ocean sinks, not only whales. Otherwise you would see a mass of rotting fish etc, floating on the surface. The BBC do not want you to do something, climate is a passing trend in their eyes.

But it goes both ways. You define them too, by what you do, how you do it, and what your beliefs and values are. The younger generation are worried sick about things like climate. And they have reasons for it, they know that their kids will pay your price.

Saw a story on Corona, noting that the young people had taken a psychological 'hit' from it. The story stopped there, but in truth those kids already are worried, even without formulating it, about the state of our world. It's like adding more things to your bagpack, the more you add the heavier the burden.

So I have very good reasons for wanting to bypass those hierarchies, and the intentions of our game.

Well, that's a British study. In USA you define from 'pauper to millionaire' hailing it as a truth about life. Believing that if you only try hard enough you too will be one. A sort of 'class less' society based on impossibilities. Reinventing a billionaire into a workers man. I call them beliefs and ideals.

It's all about the game, and different ways to, I don't really know there how to express it? Hide it? Lie about it? To yourself and others.

It's too easy those days To find new danger signs, like this "Unusually warm and dry conditions coupled with powerful wind gusts have ignited a spate of winter wildfires that call into question the idea that California has a “fire season” at all any more. "
Funny
No, not funny at all. More of a goodbye to what we had.

The burden you put on your kids. And some take it, and carry it. " Lizzie A*, who is studying plastic pollution in year 4, said she began the petition because sending Britain’s unsorted plastic waste to poorer nations is “unfair” and wrong. She took action last week after her mother, Esther, showed her a piece in the Guardian’s Seascape series, revealing the UK will continue to ship plastic waste to developing countries despite an EU ban on the practice from this month. "
You will see a lot more of this as the collision comes. What it ends in is most probably your establishment ignoring it which in a future, as those kids has grown up, will lead to repression, of thoughts, understanding life, and 'blissful ignorance' by the rest of you.

Lost my temper again. It will get worse, so consider this a mild gale compared to what may come. And no, it's not about the UK, it's about us all.

Are we in a Climate Tipping?
I don't know, depends on how you want to define it. Temperatures? The ice sheets, Arctic and Antarctic? The Tundra? Wild fires? Acidity?
Or do you want to count in topsoil, water and groundwater, deforestation, species extinctions, pollutions, plastics.
And as me, us playing a game of inequality.
Yeah, I think we are in a tipping already. Others place it differently.

How will we treat it if we are?
Look around you, the answer to that is already here.
We won't

You have your hierarchies, your established procedures. Some of them more democratic than others., But they don't change the game. They all become defenders of it. And you can't fight what you defend.

It's also known as 'every man for himself', or in this case, every strata of our society's and hierarchies. They played this game to its end, and consider themselves winners from it. I want them to dismantle themselves for the greater good.
Do you think they will?
And their traits are yours too. You're no different.
