Because that will be what counts. Your ability to question yourself, and what way you will act. Can't trust greed and profits leading you. We already done that, and this is what it gave us.

Can you now see why I say the idea of geoengineering fits us so well? It's already a part of the system we have, and it 'produce'.

It's a dead end trying to continue the same path. You know it and I know it.
So why the f* are you unable to change?

I'm not after 'the system', I'm after you.
You need to change

That will change everything.

Whatever you do, don't lower this to a question of what 'politics' will enable you to change. That's definitely a dead end for you as it tells me that you still don't think yourself responsible.

That wouldn't mean a thing.

If, and when, you change a lot of paths will open for you. Some may look like Greta's, others will be different, it doesn't matter as long as you take responsibility for your actions. And you will no longer hesitate when it comes to stating what you think.

You think yourself to be living in a democracy, don't you?
Well then, put it to the test.

One vote, one voice. Is that true where you live?
Everyone's voice 'weighted' the same?

That is democracy, anyone arguing something else puts different importance and value on different people, like apartheid did in South Africa. Democracy isn't about you solely, getting it the way you like, it's about everyone sharing in, everyone.

Another test is whether politicians is prepared to step down, in advantage of a internet based system where a bureaucracy still must exist but where you as a citizen is the one taking responsibility, voting on issues directly instead of shuffling it away to hierarchies.

If you find the answers to be no, then you're starting to see the system.

And what it builds on is you, the way you look at the world, and the way you find yourself entitled. Greed, instincts and core beliefs.

It's nothing weird about it. We have a world building on inequality, that's the 'engine'.

What isn't true about it is that it 'must' be so. It's a system with defined rules and borders. As long as you stay inside it it will seem right to you.

The proofs for it will be circular, they has to be as there is nothing more that it builds on, well, except who you are and the way you act.

So stop complaining about inequality. Without it you wouldn't be where you are :)

Or do something about it.

Right and wrong, it always comes back to that, doesn't it?
Fairness and equality, or the opposite.

inequality can only fit a unlimited system, one where the assets are uncountable, and where there always will be more room if you can't stay, f.ex due to unforeseen effects from your actions.

Is that Earth?

And all those SF promising us the stars :)
Well, they're right, if we want to keep the system we have today we sooner or later will have to leave.
