You do understand that one of the most probable scenarios I've discussed already is here? The one where the competition for resources gets more and more fierce, corruption growing and 'geopolitics' becoming blatantly obvious. As the Chinese fisheries in Ghana
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/nov/16/ghana-fisheries-observer-vanishes
Or Mr Trump promising Saudi Arabia nuclear power. One of the country's getting the most sunshine in the world.
It's already here that scenario

And the way I see that is that unless you're able to look at yourself this is the way it will be. Earth growing smaller and smaller, no resources and no food, instead war over what's left until it leaves one small figure waving a flag screaming that he won.

Global warming is a result of this system we believe in, everywhere. And that combined with shortsightedness, geopolitics, greed and core beliefs will take us over the edge. It's a belief system that you grew up in. If you were to talk to a hunter gatherer he would find it extremely difficult to understand your beliefs.
the reason why it worked was that Earth still was 'infinite' to us.
It no longer is

Hunter gatherers had elders, we have exchanged that for locked doors and hierarchies. And the one moving upwards in it will also become the strongest defender of it. A little like a war where you only will hear the stories from those surviving it.

What is sadly funny about it is that it impress you, because it is 'power'. Which tells a lot about your ability to look outside the limits of the game.

If you want to get rid of that disability there is one thing.
You live, and then you die.

apropos canary's.
" “The Indian Ocean is particularly sensitive to a warming world. It is the canary in the coalmine seeing big changes before others come to other tropical ocean areas.”

You need to change, and you need to do it today

You can pretend it doesn't happen for a while more but as earth is one climate system everything that goes around will come around. And if you're in a hierarchy it becomes even more important to take some f*ng responsibility. Or you admit to it not working.

Do you understand why peoples memory is so short? After the second world war those living where the concentration camps were was forced to go in and look at the death machine. Some few generations after everything becomes as usual again. Nobody remembers.
The word is generations.
Every generation that comes creates its own 'history'. One of the things hiding genocides and making them possible again. Then you have education, a lack of it will bring ignorance. Combined you get a flock of herd animals well suited for hierarchies use. As I state this system lifts up the wrong people.

And you can't get a educative system to work without equality.
Inequality in schools creates ignorance
And if you then also twist history to your own, or hierarchies, liking it gets even worse.

It's a catch 22
This worlds engine is inequality, or I should say 'system'. It's not Earths, it's your beliefs.

A very simple reason why education keeps failing.

The stupidity shown by so called 'leaders' is stupendous. They fall into the trap of geopolitics instead of acting on the warnings we get daily nowadays. Geopoitics will lead you to war.
Wanna leave the herd?
