A novel way to stop rising sea levels?
« on: 30/11/2009 23:49:53 »
This question has been playing on my head for a short while now.

As a high percentage of a human being is water, each of us remove a certain volume of water from the planet's water-cycle. As the number of people on earth increases, more water is removed from the cycle. This suggests that there must be a point at which enough people are being born so as to balance out rising sea levels.

What must the planet's birth-rate be so as to negate the effect of the rising sea levels due to global warming? (Not taking into account the effect that all these people would have, lets keep it fairly simple  [:)])

Thanks!

You'll need another, I don't know, 100 trillion people?
And to my very detailed calculations, that's only for the Ice on Greenland  [::)]

Violets are blue.
Most poems rhyme,
but this one doesn't

Seems to me your calculation is probably pretty close Nizzle.

Not the best solution to rising sea levels I've heard!
