A freezer is often colder than the outside air. If the outside temperature is colder than freezing then you have the risk of freeze damage to the contents of the refrigerator.You could run an experiment for us and report your findings.
So its all your fault is it?SHUT THAT BLOODY DOOR SHEEPY, ITS FREEZING HERE.BTW, freezers kept in garages/sheds where the temperature drops below zero may not work.
