No-L Day; Holy Christmas!

Yes! They could use you as a 4th Angel!

I'm all for Donnah being the 4th angle, after all, she is a ccutey

She is certainly not obtuse as you and I...

January 19 - 20, 2013:
Bald Eagle Appreciation Days

A round of raptorous applause for the Bald Eagle.

I bet Don_1 can pull a pun outta this. Why? Because he's talonted, that's why.

I shall see what I can do to honour the claws in my TNS contract.

In the mean time here is a joke for that miserable old sod Perry. With any luck it will make Perry grin.

As I approached the door, I saw a sign which read 'Knocker not working - please use the button & buzz hard.' I reached the conclusion that someone was falcon about.

TNS formed an add hawk committee to award Don_1 for his well documented peregrinations (e.g., his Falcon Award above).

February, 2013 is:
American Heart (UK = Heart) Month

I couldn't bypass this great opportunity to post this remembrance on the 3rd memorable anniversary of my wonderful emergency cardiac care experience.

The procedure was not all in vein!

I'd better take a look at the oven.

Its no good, I can't see anything under here and the torch (US = flashlight) has a flat battery. I know, I'll strike a match to see where I need to put this gas patcheo. Oopps....

I suppose that would be a sort of Alpahbetti Spagetti with only A, B, C, D, E, F & G, some flat, some sharp and perchance the odd few augmented.

You can find Alphabetti Spaghetti at your favorite local bar, but you must wait in line for it. Delegate: have one of your staff pick it up instead. They can whistle a tune while they're waiting. But encourage them to eat with a fork to maximize spaghetti twirlability.

US = favorite. I don't want to confuse Don_1. He often clarifies words internationally.

A florist asked me, "what's your favourite (US = favorite) flower?"
I replied, "Self raising."
...torch (US = flashlight)

Without such occasional clarification, these misunderstandings could lead to another Revolutionary War. I'm sure you understand.

I'm living on (probably) the other side of the world. Whilst one could argue that 2:30pm is too early for dinner and too late for lunch, it's not unusual for us Australians to be up.
