Well said!

what're you doing up so early/late???

I'm living on (probably) the other side of the world. Whilst one could argue that 2:30pm is too early for dinner and too late for lunch, it's not unusual for us Australians to be up.

bizerl demystified!

I would have been able to make a pun out of de myst if I'ed been quicker!

Technically I'm still part of the British Empire (for some reason).

Long live the Queen!

I wonder if that's a recording of the queen of Denmark's abdication speech that he's playing over and over again to his mum.

On a dark night I was walking along and found myself in a burlesque entrance. The cast let me in and before I knew it, I had my paw nestled in some duchess's lap! My alibi? Shopping of course!

Sorry guys, but I thought the moderators might close the thread if we didn't keep on topic with a pun soon. I know they check material often.

Well, what can I say mate? After just a day or two I check back here to find you have become board with the line we were following. I shall have to square up to this new challenge. En passant this thread to me, you have set me quite a task. But I am no rookie at this punning lark, though what you are asking of me is considerable, I resign myself to coming up with the goodies, though some of my puns may be old and rather stale, mate.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must away to get some of my old puns out of the pawn shop. Times is 'ard.

OK Donnah, Demo is castling his net for a tie breaker. It'll be alwhite if you go first, but remember, in the words of Arrne Schwarztntrotter, or whatever his name is, 'I'll be black.'

I think Donnah is playing that old 'keep him waiting game'. Bit by bit she wants to wear me down. Its an old Chinese ploy intended to send your opponent pawn crackers.

I say old chap! You've been wadding tons of puns into your last post. Give me a chance too, you haven't got the monopoly on these puns. If you get too many in one post people get a little board. Games only hold the attention for a short while. Overdoing it can be a risk, when some people are looking for new careers.

OI!!! Shut that door, there's some terrible draughts in here.

Do you think we should move on? I think these puns are just about eggsahusted now.

Of course, if you have any more to eggstrapolate, do carry on, I'm easy over here.

...this sub-thread is not eggsactly a "Mickey Mouse" pun on eggs! Let's have some reggspect!

I didn't think mice laid eggs!!!

OH! But of course, they must lay eggs at eggsmouse.

Hmmm, a tad oblique perhaps. Allow me to eggsplane:-
eggsmouse = xmouse = eggsmas = xmas

I went for the double pun there.

I'm sure he poached that from me. Him and his egg. No going back now. Heed the warning shell or I'll scramble the RAF.

You're right. There's nothing new here. I fall opianly into submission. It's too hard. Boiled over into ridiculousness this topic has.
