40 years of Nagging Excellence awarded!

I have been happily married for 2 years, the other 23 have been shear purgatory.
If brains were made of dynamite, I wouldn't have enough to blow my nose.

Perhaps you've become a Purgatory Cat! Do you inexplicably yearn for a bowl of Friskies from time to time? Hmmmm?

Oranges with belly button's are called navel oranges. Lemons which help them are called lemon aide's.

The naval orange is on your right.

Don_1, please citrus self down and remember -- similar to beginner Anne's "la"s -- that novice pirates like this make terrible singers because they can't hit the high seas.

Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you can’t have your kayak and heat it too.

Don_1, getting rid of that boat for another could cause a whole raft of problems.

For example, a leak in the back of your boat could be a stern warning.

Anna was working in the tavern outside the naval base. Asked what flowers should be planted in the garden she said, "Azaleas of course." Just then a burly old sea dog roughly put his hand on her thigh. She tipped a bucket of sloops over his head and screamed, "U-boat men are all the same.

If I were a copper and was set the task of an investigation, I would say to the suspect, "I scharnhorst* around on this job."

I don't think I'll try it with Japanese battleships, it might prove a tad difficult and besides, I'll annoy the US Navy.

At the cattle market a farmer was looking for something a little different to give him the edge over his dairy competetors.

One seller had a dozen Oxen on offer. After some negociation, the farmer declared "Per ox I'd pay 1000."

There was a problem at the guitar factory. Someone accidentally mixed sodium hydroxide in with the varnish. They ended up with a caustic guitar.

Hehehe.... I wish aye cid that.

Should we have some Sodium Hydroxide Cake to celebrate the New Caustic Guitar?

In my capacity as an events logistics contractor, I recently covered the annual conference of the College of Optometrists. That was an eye opener.

And just last week I covered the annual bash of the College of Occupational Therapists, but I can't think of a suitable pun for that job. I need help.

[the proctologist is...]

..... a bit of a bummer?

..... rather cheeky?

..... a sticky customer (ie glueteus maximus)

..... a silly ass

..... the type of people you don't want to shake hands with

..... forever bringing up the rear

..... the worst guest at a dinner party

But if things go wrong, he'll usually rectify the situation.

The vet was so clumsy, he wrecked all the examination gloves.
