Why does atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration vary seasonally?

Increases in bio-productivity (especially in soils)  oceanic outgassing (as well as karstic outgassing, but this is comparatively minor),  and increases in rates of weathering are all much higher during the warmer months, and all produce excess CO2.

There are probably a thousand more reasons.
