he suggested that I wouldn't be able to find humor on this forum.  I look forward to someone proving him wrong.

Now, that is a good example of sarcasm.

Here, let me get the ball rolling:  People who can't ever admit they're wrong shouldn't still exist.  I feel bad for the people who have to be around them in their daily lives.

So, would I be correct in assuming you are not married?

Is that an "I know you are, but what am I?"  I am undone by your clever repartee.

Not really! It's a deduction.

If you were married, you wouldn't have to come to TNS to get a good argument.

It may even be margarine, but I think George was a good call.

Is there such a thing as a "margarine knife?"

George Carlin is certainly one of my influences.  I was fortunate enough to catch his last show and his poster is mere feet from me right now.  R.I.P. a comedic genius.

Do you mean in an evolutionary sense?

I know I did not follow his act to often, I stumbled over this that brough back memories.
We first realized his existance when he had impressed us in the later 60's

Al Sleet, the "hippie-dippie weatherman"—"Tonight's forecast: Dark. Continued dark throughout most of the evening, with some widely scattered light towards morning."

His presentation how he pronounced the phrase, "hippie-dippie weatherman", in a sequence, multiple times, emphasizing it in different ways.
It was a hit for months...
