If in a pressure vessel, the introduction of gaseous CO₂ under pressure, as from a pressurized cylinder, combined with agitation, would probably do the job. I do not know how long the fizz would remain in force if then released to atmospheric pressure. Most carbonated aqueous products are stored under pressure.
