Why are there no good books to read these days?

I used to read books a lot about 2 years ago, but now when I go searching for books I never find any good books. They all seem boring or i've heard them before but they are told in a different way.  [:-'(]

Are you talking fiction or non-fiction?
Observe; collate; conjecture; analyse; hypothesise; test; validate; theorise. Repeat until complete.

There are loads of good books to read both old and new... Just reach out and pluck a few from the bookstore shelves and give them a go.. I am always amazed at what I find.. and I like trying new authors etc.. Try it out! You might like it!

What kind of books do you like?

Assuming you are talking about fiction, it may just be that you have changed because you have learned "the formula". You could take advantage of this and write some books yourself.
