Why won't my TV schedule work in 64bit windows?
« on: 30/01/2011 20:51:39 »
I have two drives on my computer one with Win7 64bit ultimate SP1 and the other with the 32 bit version.
Windows media centre TV runs fine on the 32 bit version but refuses to download the TV schedule's on the 64bit version.
all relevent updates are up to date on both versions, has any one else tried this ?.

I rather suspect MS does not have a test case for that scenario and that you've discovered an unsupported configuration.

However, I'm sure if you let MS know about the problem you're having, they'll hop right on it  [;D]

You could try looking at the TV card makers site as it seems to be a common problem with windows 7 64bit.

Since I have done a thorough reformat and reload windows media centre now works fine on the 64bit drive.
It may be due to all the updates that pour in from microsoft !
