Anyone have an new theories on what to do about the nuclear situation in Japan?

That was a question, for a given thickness, how do gama ray percentages fall? To say as you increase the thinkness I assume a percentage is dampered, does anyone know the thinkness to percentage rate, for a given material like lead or depleted urainium?

could we use a spray on material to shut any breaches in the reactors itself?

They are metal surrounded by concreat mainly, could a simply thick concrete solution not just be applied to any breaks and cracks? The metal in theory would also be damaged but, could just repairing the outer concrete be enough to shut them and keep them holding water etc?

I don't why I keep thinking about sprays, maybe because a nosel could enter deep inside any cracks.
