Perhaps I should not supplement her seed diet,
I am not sure.. does anyone know?

I have not had a bird for years and do not remember
if they can eat fruits etc..?

What do you think?

Thanks,

Yes Karen, you should supplement their diet with fresh food, but not too much of any one thing. It can make them a bit loose.

Apple, grape, corn, sweet potato, peach, pear, strawberry, melon, kiwi etc. BUT NOT AVOCADO, to which they are intolerant. Also some sprouting leaf, such as spinach, chicory, dandelion, clover and chickweed. DO NOT GIVE GROUNDSEL (Senecio vulgaris). A common wild flower which is toxic.
