ZPE ,casimir force

Will zero point energy the casimir force ever be useful for anything.

Will we ever be able to extract the energy from space in the quantities which would be required for space propulsion for instance.

When I come across a post like this I start to read. I am trying to make some senses of a subject that I have a very weak grasp of. Then I came across this

“Zero-point energy adds mystery to an enigma. The fact that it is infinite for the electromagnetic field is uncomfortable, since we are unaccustomed to infinite values as reference levels, but in this case this is valid. When an electromagnetic wave exists, the energy is infinite plus wave. Subtracting, we find the wave energy as infinite plus wave minus infinite = wave. This is the price to be paid for the convenience of continuous variables”

A continuous variable what a beautiful idea.

I still have a lot of reading to do!

What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.
