Traveling photon has changing energy in gravitation field, and this energy is not relative for any object in the universe.Your travel to source does not change energy of photon relatively of you if photon is far to you.It changes energy of photon if photon is near to you,and then your gravitational field changes energy of the photon for every object in the universe.
