Neli Espe asked the Naked Scientists:
Dear Ben and Naked Astronomy team, thank you for your superb work.

I am passionate to learn more about this complex topic; I listen to podcasts from around the world, and you, by far, do the BEST job! You have made a great difference in my life.

I also have a question - How big is the observable universe? If I look in on direction, it is 13.7 billion light years, if I look in the opposite direction, isn't it also 13.7 light years. So, isn't it 27.4? And then adding all the accelerated expansion....

Thanks, Neli Espe, USA, Anacortes, Washington

What do you think?
