The phenomenon of the component cells of the callus to form a whole plant is called

Regeneration or Totipotency or Dedifferentiation or Redifferentiation

Thanks

If the callus culture is creating a whole new plant then it must be able to supply cells with the potential to turn into any of the specialised cell types in the mature plant. Therefore those cells must be totipotent.
