Which dinosaur was the king of gore?
« on: 07/12/2013 13:30:01 »
Gary Staab asked the Naked Scientists:

I had the pleasure of creating a sculpture of a new species of Tyrannosaur "Lythronax argestes"  which means  "King of Gore" announced just yesterday by scientists in Utah.

The video clip is just 2 minutes long

Hope all is well.
Gary

Impressive piece of work Gary. Fascinating to see the process from scratch, how long did it take?
If brains were made of dynamite, I wouldn't have enough to blow my nose.

I liked the parts where the sculptor was scratching the back of the dinosaur's neck - and then giving him a shave!

For those who are passing through Sydney, Australia, there is a Tyrannosaur exhibition including skeletons from China & USA. It includes computer animations of dinosaurs walking past the Sydney Opera House...
