I'm usually listening to classic piano rockers like Jerry Lee Lewis (50s fame) and pianists like Albert Ammons (1940's).

Almost all my music preferences lean to boogie woogie, Blues, and oldies from 50s and 60s.

My instrument is piano.

I have no preference in musical taste, if I like it, I like it, whatever genre it may be, though I'm not over keen on jazz. It always seems to me that each musician is playing something unrelated to the rest of the band.

Anyways, here is one piece I think I can safely say I would put above all else. Though I can't just have it playing, in common with virtually all Tree's music, I must be in a quiet and dark room with no chance of disturbance, so I can concentrate on their music. Even after 40 years listening to it, I still find it all consuming.

You may need to listen a few times before you begin to appreciate Tree's music.

I would reccomend, Lady Margret, Murdoch, Streets of Derry and Snail's Lament as additional listening.

This is Tree's fine version of 'Sally Free and Easy'.

Draw the curtains, shut the doors and windows, turn off the lights and the phone, hang out a 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign, sit, close your eyes and empty your mind and listen.
