Perhaps one could breed farm animals to grow tusks. For example, pigs have tusks which one could select to grow larger.

Many mammal species in various families have tusks, which often serve the same functions as horns, but are in fact oversize teeth.
why is domestic breeding of cattle for meat, leather and other byproducts better then managing a elephant herd for the same? We seem to have double standards toward one animal vs another.
