I saw a film called Patch Adams recently again. I think its a lovely film. Anyway there's this poem he tries to read. I would post the whole thing but it would take me ages to do on my phone. So heres a little bit.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,
I love you simply, without problems or pride:
I love you in this way because I don't know any other way of loving

but this, in which there is no I or you,
so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand,
so intimate that when I fall asleep it is your eyes that close.

That is part of Pablo Neruda's Sonnet XVII

There are actually 3 of them adult size.. They used to be about 40 ft off the ground but too many children were being unsupervised by parents and the risk factor for lawsuit became to high so the made them like this much shorter and lower! what a shame they were great! I like to play on the slide myself! LOL

Aw that is a shame. I remember going to a place called Bowood and they had a death slide which was the best slide I have ever been on. If I think really hard I can still remember the way it used to make my insides feel [:)]

Yes I liked those.. LOL Honestly was great as was super kitty.. and Frankly my Samson has pretty much done that! LOL He hated going to the vets! LOL..They had to drag him out once all fours were dug into the floor and they were pulling as hard as they could he weighed 150lbs and was not cooperating with them! I came in to pick him up and when I looked over the counter and saw him he looked so pathetic and scared.. LOL... I walked around corner and the vet was still pulling and Sam winning..LOL I said Samson! he looked up and ran for me placing both feet on my shoulders smelling my face and then snuggled his head under my neck and just stood their wanting his hug! It was so sweet he was great! I miss me big ole lug!

These are up lifting..LOL! This is our airport out in this field! LOL..pretty small. The hanger on the right and terminal on left best I could do. I used to live right where I took the picture at! I could hop the fence to the airport, back then the fence was shorter, but we have had so much trouble with deer on the air strip that we had to build a 11 or 12 foot fence to keep the deer off the runway! LOL!..With several barbed wire runners surrounding the entire area! LOL.. The airport over looks the beach! It is right behind what you see here!

By the way the one time I flew was on Huges Air West on a little jet, a DC 10..My husband tells me! That was in Hmmmm 1978ish I believe or close to that!

Here's a picture of the stem of a spruce - the centre has rotted out, leaving the harder branch wood on the interior. People sometimes forget that the old branches are still in the trees, and that the trunk grows out over branch wood.

It is indeed in Greece. I went to Zakynthos (sorry, apparently spelt it wrong earlier)  when I was 12 or so. To get to that little bit of beach, which is called Navagio (AKA Smugglers Cove), you have to go by boat, can't remember how long it took, felt like hours though. But once we got there we were able to relax on the beach and look around the ship wreak. But Greece is beautiful, crystal clear waters, gorgeous beaches and wonderful food.........oh yeah  [:)]
