Marcel D. Waldinger, MD, PhD is neuropsychiatrist and head of the Department of Consultative Psychiatry and the outpatient Department of Neurosexology at Leyenburg Hospital in The Hague in The Netherlands.

He is Associate Professor in Sexual Psychopharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands.

Since 1992 Dr. Waldinger treats and investigates premature ejaculation (ejaculatio praecox) and other ejaculatory problems. In 1997 he received his PhD on this subject.

His renewing ideas and studies have been published in various scientific journals and daily newspapers.

The outpatient Department of Neurosexology of the Leyenburg Hospital in The Hague has been the most specialized outpatient clinic for the treatment of premature ejaculation in the Netherlands and Europe for the last 15 years.

Dr. Dave Schweitzer, co-author of original 2002 POIS Study with Dr. Marcel Waldinger, since 1994 internist-endocrinologist in Reinier de Graaf Groep, Netherlands. His interest is mainly in hormonal diseases and diseases of the metabolism. He does research on the endocrinology of sexuality and seriously overweight. His work is published in international journals.

I'm 33 years old. In the first years when I was 'active' everything was ok. But since 2005 when I had an urinary tract infection things went wrong. First I could manage it: 3 O's a week was no problem. Then 2 and in the last year one O is a problem. I don't know if mastubation is the problem. Maybe it's all about the hormons. In my whole live I had problems with my health: forehead sinusitis, allergy's, feeling cold.

Thanks. I've searched for years on google if there is a disease with illness after an O. But I didn't find anything. And yesterday I found an old article about dr. Waldinger. And then I found this good forum. In the last year I tried to convince my familydoctor and my urologist. They said it was the stress. So I went to the physiotherapist and the pelvic physiotherapist. I went to vacation. I tried Thyrax for my thyroid. But nothing helped. Hopefully dr. Waldinger can help me. And hopefully his solution will help you all.

PS. When I see the list of B_Jimmy than I can see that there are no females. That is remarkable. So it has to do with the male hormons (I know that women have a little testosteron too) or male genitals (including prostate).

1. If a study is credited cited and published in the right way, it'll be difficult for a skeptical doctor who assumes "it's all in your head" to not take seriously this serious illness.

2. side news +1 more for the hypogonadal list not got all the results back but my total testosterone was quite depleted at 217 ng/dl

1. Just in case you're not fully aware, my welcome letter spells out several sources that effectively combat the "it's NOT all in our head" problem, e.g., Waldinger's 2002 Medical Study, the NY Times article, etc.

2. As to your low T-readings, are you considering TRT? It's helped me enormously (if you haven't seen my posts about that ad nauseam  [])

No I should thank you. When I saw the letter you posted I knew that dr. Waldinger is the one who can help me. First, I wanted too wait after my appointment with the urologist (about a few weeks).
But I don't have an appointment with dr. Waldinger yet. So I don't want too cheer too soon (a Duth expression). When I see him I will give him your regards. And I will keep you posted.

Yes POIS is a nasty disease. It affect your (mental) health, it changes one's personality in a bad way, it affects your relationships with women. you have too hold on. Hopefully healing is close.
