Cancel magnetism, so too cancel out inertia?
« on: 22/03/2017 10:58:48 »
In WW2 British ships were equipped to be non magnetic to avert sea mine danger. Could it be possible to cancel out inertia, from a machine and perhaps a pilot?

I was one of those who saw a UFO over eastern Australia and it sped instantly with no graduation into the great speed and went from west to east in about 20 seconds.

May I suggest you do some research to identify what it was you actually saw over Australia instead of believing improbable explanations

We all saw a swirl shape that was a non moving shape, that as a whole moved across the sky over the border of QLD and NSW Australia. This was in the dark of early morning. The US government was reported to have claimed it was their satellite.

No matter what you saw, or thought you saw, the answer to the question "Could it be possible to cancel out inertia, from a machine and perhaps a pilot?" seems to be
"no".

If you cancel inertia you also cancel both inertial and passive gravitational mass so that the force of gravity no longer operates on the object. It is a pity that this is impossible.

When I was a boy a popular boys magazine ran a serial story about a group of explorers who travelled the solar system in a space ship that was powered by having sliding panels that shielded it from gravity, considering the infinitesimal mass of the Graviton compared even to the Neutrino I wonder how thick they would need to be?
