Which came first, deer or humans?

So this troll made a blanket statement deer have been around longer than humans, related to a deer and auto accidents thread, anyone know?

Deer are listed as having existed since "Early Oligocene".
If that's the case they have existed >20x longer than modern humans

I can confidently assert that the deer were here before the automobiles.
So clearly the automobiles are at fault for any collisions with deer.
