This Dark Matter Theory Could Solve a Celestial Conundrum

Quote
Khoury and Berezhiani are nearing the point where they can extract testable predictions that would allow astronomers to explore whether our galaxy is swimming in a superfluid sea.

If the Milky Way is swimming in a superfluid sea then so is the Earth. Wouldn't the particle in a double slit experiment be moving through and displacing the sea, causing it to wave?

Yes

The question then is, if it is this obvious that it is the superfluid sea that waves in a double slit experiment, why aren't physicists capable of realizing this is the evidence of dark matter they have spent half a century looking for?
