How does ultrasounds affect neuroimmunity?
« on: 28/05/2018 22:37:20 »
Hello naked people!  :D

Is there any link between ultrasounds directed to the brain via the cochlear pathway (in the ear) and neuroimmunity?

In specific, how does chronic, high-frequency ultrasounds exposure can activate or disactivate specific neuroimmune pathways in order to hijack/compromise or stimulate cognitive functions?

What do you think?

Exposure to loud ultrasound can be harmful. This link gives some of the dangers associated with it: https://web.archive.org/web/20130110213842/http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/ewh-semt/pubs/radiation/safety-code_24-securite/health-sante-eng.php#a2.2

It can cause headaches, nausea, fatigue and temporary hearing loss. I was surprised to learn that it can also cause burns.

I'm doubtful that ultrasound can "hijack" the human brain.

You could use ultrasound to annoy someone- that would affect their neurological function.
I can't see any mechanism for anything much more specific.

I think I might have discovered how ultrasounds directed to the brain may facilitate premature alzheimer, please take a look at this tweet: https://twitter.com/wise_project/status/1001387462864920576
