I hardly do anything.

I don't belong to any clubs, especially sporting clubs as I can no longer run about like a lunatic  [:(]

I've been doing security work for over 5 years, started a few weeks before my 19th Birthday.

Took me about 2/3 years to become a site supervisor  [::)] Yay me!  [::)]  [;)]

I was never a joiner, always a loner.  The only thing I belong to (after a lifetime of not belonging to anything) is Mensa.  I suppose I have always been one of life's spectators rather than one of life's actors (but observing life can be fascinating and educational).

Never liked sport anyway (either as a participant or as a spectator).

So, that is boring old me.

Part of your name is missing George!

I was never athletic because of my health so am not a sports fan either although it is fun to hit the ball in softball. I am a good batter or at least I was . I had no problems with a home run  as long as I had a runner. LOL

I joined campfire girls as a young girl, but that was it.. I really hated clubs and really still do. The only member of anything that I am is NS and Hadrians forum. I have always been the same as you George! LOL I don't know if it is the committment part or the fact that I hate going along with the group! That never appealed to me.. I am usually quite a contrary woman!! that is not always good. Can make for a bit of hard headedness also! LOL.. I would rather learn by seeing and make my decisions according to my obsevations and trial and error on my own decisions! At least I know then that I am responsible for my own actions!

Well my parents only saw me serve a couple of times. I mainly served during the day . I remember the first funeral I served, that was really hard. We had been told before hand not to laugh or smile. Well I was doing well but my mates who were also servers kept smiling, obviously something was funny but I had to try and fight it [;)]

I think out of my family my uncle was probably the most proud, simply because he is a priest. I once had to go with the priests of my church to a cathedral, there was some big yahoo going on, can't remember what it was. But there were priests and alter servers from all the churches in Bristol, well, nearly all [;)]
But I got to see my uncle there which was nice........wait a min, I think it was because we were getting a new Bishop, or something like that  [::)]

But in all it was fun, and if you are a child and go to a Roman Catholic church then I would say it is worth while. You learn a lot more about the church and it's a great way to experience responsibility at an earlier age  [:)]

i went to my first catholic funeral this year. i had no idea what was going on. i haven't been to mass since i went on easter with my grandma, and that was a greek orthodox church. i don't know what i consider myself now. my family never really went to church, unless  my uncle was doing the service. he's a minister. i think he's baptist. i don't know. but i was baptized roman catholic. so... i'm everything!
