what would you call it and what would its properties be?

I'm thinking of discovering hooverium, a pale crystalline material, solid at room temperature and naturally attracts small particles of dust.

Since all elements that can theoretically exist that are lighter than Uranium have now been discovered, it would have to be a transuranic element, and thus almost certainly highly radioactive (if a transuranic element were to be discovered that did not decay in a fairly short space of time, one would have to ask why there was not more of it around - but it would indeed be a very significant discovery).

Quote
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A sense of humour is the ability to experience humour, a quality which all people share, although the extent to which an individual will personally find something humorous depends on a host of absolute and relative variables

there is a mineral called cummingtonite which kept me and my classmates amused in our first year at uni.

although if I was now naming minerals, it'd have to be chickentonite...

hmmm....perhaps I should have put this comment under geology...
