The mass of the Earth is 6*10^24 Kg so the density works out at approx 5.5 gm/cm^3 hence it would sink like a stone.There is one planet that would float, of the top of my head I think it is Uranus but I may be wrong.

Yes. The Earth is a large globe that orbits the sun. That is just a drawing of the Earth.(Who was it who did that painting of an apple (I think) with the caption "This is not an apple"?)
If I could dunk it in a bucket or a puddle would it float like an apple or sink like a stone ?I can't empirically research this ! THANKSNeil
