The orriginal version of the joke refered to the writer Kippling.
If someone asked you if you liked, for example, hunting, you might reply "I don't know- I have never hunted."
By analogy, "do you like Kippling?" (actually meaning Do you like the works of Kippling) might get the joke reply "I don't know- I have never Kippled"

If you still don't get it don't worry- it's not that good a joke.

Anyway, yes, I do like duckling, particularly roast. Very nice, but rather fatty, it needs to be cooked well, preferably on a trivet. On the other hand it makes sense to wait till they grow up into ducks before eating them- there's more to them that way.
