A 1932 autopsy specimen from an eight day old male infant, admitted for vomiting after feeds he was 2 lbs below correct weight for the first week of life. The illness began on the second day, forcible vomiting occurring after four out of six daily feeds, starting a half to three quarters of an hour after the feed. Death took place without improvement on the eighth day.
