Submucous lipoma of ileum causing intussusception

Share

Acute intestinal obstruction developed on 7.12.57 with profuse vomiting. Laparotomy was performed the next day and an intussusception was found in the middle of the small intestine. This was reduced with difficulty and the submucous lipoma which was the cause of the intussusception, together with the surrounding bowel, was resected. No further clinical information available.
